On Sunday 7th September I'm riding the Tour De 4 charity bike in Scotland to raise money for Breast Cancer Now. Set up by my sporting hero Sir Chris Hoy the Tour De 4 is raising money for UK cancer charities and aims to show that you can find hope after a Stage 4 cancer diagnosis.
In spring 2024 I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer, I'm a year past surgery, cancer free and now on preventative meds to hopefully keep cancer at bay. Breast Cancer Now is one of the many organisations that's supported me along the way. From the Breast Cancer Now Helpline to the Moving Forward Course the charity has helped me so much through the toughest of times.
Doing the Tour de 4 is a way of saying thank you and raising funds to support Breast Cancer Now's research and services which improve the outcomes and experience of women (and men) going through and living with breast cancer.
Whatever you can afford, anything and everything helps and makes a valuable contribution.
Thank you for your support.
