‍♂️Riding 56 Miles for Prostate Scotland – My Tour De 4 Challenge

Hi, On 7th September 2025, I’ll be cycling 56 miles (92 km) as part of the Tour De 4 charity bike ride starting and finishing at the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome in Glasgow.

This incredible event was created by Sir Chris Hoy following his own diagnosis with stage 4 prostate cancer. His courage and determination to turn personal adversity into a nationwide movement inspired me to take part.

Why I'm Riding

Prostate cancer affects thousands of men and families across Scotland every year. By riding in support of Prostate Scotland, I’m helping fund life-saving research, early diagnosis, and support services for those facing this disease.

I lost my own dad to Prostate cancer in 2001 mainly due to a late diagnosis, I am riding in memory of my dad and to help raise awareness of the need to get regular PSA tests if you have any family history of Prostate cancer.

Sir Chris’s message is clear: even with a stage 4 diagnosis, life can still be full of strength, purpose, and hope. I want to carry that message forward—on two wheels, across 56 miles, and with your support behind me.

My Goal

I’m aiming to raise a minimum of £200 for Prostate Scotland. Every donation will help improve awareness, treatment, and care for men across the country.
