My Son Has Cancer And I'm in Debt
I am single mother with four children; two boys and two girls. After divorcing my manipulative ex-husband, my children and I moved from the US to Canada. After a few months, we were settled and happy. That happiness didn't last for long when my mother passed away. A month later, my son was diagnosed with stage 4 lymphoblastic lymphoma and the treatment would last 2 1/2 years.
The stress from my situation and the build-up of previous mourning was hard for me to take on my own. We moved from place to place in search of better doctors and support from family. We moved twice before settling in Toronto, where the costs of homes and food are overpriced. The only available apartments had us pay an expensive rent with separate water and gas bills. That resulted with me taking loans to accommodate for our livelihood.
I am now more than 15,000 dollars in debt and that number is sure to increase. Although we receive money from the government, it isn't enough for my family's living. I'm not able to work and support my family because i'm busy taking care of my sick son. Go Fund Me was a last resort. Please help me repay my debt and provide for my family's living.
