My sister, Theresa de la Cruz, suffered a subarachnoid hemorrhage a few days ago and is in dire need to undergo surgery for endovascular treatment of her brain aneurysm.
Although she has medical insurance coverage from her work, this will only cover a minimal fraction of the entire surgical and other hospital expenses. After seeking loans from friends and family, we are turning to gofundme to hopefully help raise funds for the surgery which we were told will cost up to $10,000. Please help us in however way you can to assist my sister and her family during this difficult time. My sister is one of the most wonderful people you'll ever meet with a great sense of humor that will catch you by surprise because of her soft-spoken and gentle demeanor. She is dearly loved by all who gets to know her and adored by her four children. For over a decade now and up until the time of her illness, she continued to work the nightshift with even more determination now that two of her children are already in college. And yet, she is someone who would go straight to church after her shift to attend Mass. She needs our prayers and help now more than ever.
