My sister needs some help after beating leukemia

Donation protected
As everyone knows at the beginning of the year I went and donated stem cells to my older sister.  In January she was diagnosed with leukemia and went through chemo to kill the disease and her bone marrow so the leukemia would not come back. Although the treatment put the leukemia into remission, her body now had no immune system or red blood cells due to her prior diagnosis of PNH, Parosysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria, her body could no longer create what it needed to keep getting healthier. We were told she would need a donor to donate stem cells to help her body create the bone marrow that was destroyed with the chemo treatments. We began with testing of the family to donate, even then there was only a 15% chance that I would be the perfect match. And even a lesser chance of anyone else to be a match. We hit the jackpot! I was her perfect 100% match to be her donor, this is very rare. As soon as she was able to receive the donation I drove from Texas to California and spent a week there going through the process of injections to get my stem cell count up to give her the amount of stem cells her body would need. When it came down to donation day we beat the odds and I was able to give her 3 times more than other donors are usually able to donate. Once Megan was able to receive the donation she still had a long road ahead of her with the doctor visits to make sure her body was doing what it needed to do with the donation. After almost a year of being away from home and friends and family she was given the all clear to go home.  Although everyone is extremely happy with the outcome of her disease, she still has a long road ahead of her. My sister is eager to go back to work but cannot get the all clear from the doctors to go back as of yet due to flu season beginning, her body still does not have the strength to fight off a cold or flu like most of us are able to. She can’t get any of her immunizations for another few months.  We need everyone’s help! If you are able to donate anything we would truly appreciate that. These donations will go to help pay necessary bills such as rent, food, and utilities to be able to keep her in a safe environment to be able to continue to get better and stronger. Anything helps if you are able to donate and if not please just share this and pass it along to everyone you know so those who can help have the opportunity to do so.
