My niece Sara has cancer. Please help.

My niece Sara is a helper at heart. She has twin 3 year brothers and helps watch over them. Luke (one of the twins) has cerebral palsy and isn’t able to walk or do most of the normal toddler things. He takes extra care and Sara has always helped her mom and Grandma look after the twins.

Sara loves animals and nature. She has a big heart and loves to learn all about the wild things around her. She finds joy in lizards at parks and big leaves you find on walks.

On January 18th Sara was diagnosed with cancer. She has 32 lumps in her neck. They did testing and surgery and the results are Hodgkin’s lymphoma.

Since that diagnosis Sara has been hospitalized and her parents ( Laura and Bob) have had to juggle watching the other kids and staying with Sara. Each day they have had to pay $75 in parking lot fees. Bob tried to keep working but Luke’s special needs make it hard. And then…Covid hit.

Laura, Bob, Sara, and Luke have all tested positive. Luke has been in the hospital getting breathing treatments. Bob was with Luke at the hospital while Laura was in the cancer ward with Sara.

Laura (my sister) has epilepsy. The stress of all of this combined with the Covid caused her to be found nearly unresponsive by the nurse who came to check Sara. Laura’s blood ox level was in the 70s so they transferred her to the ER.

My mom is heading out to CA to help out, but they really need financial help as well.

They’ve tried to do anything to keep Sara’s spirits up and then everything came crashing down as they all got sick with Covid. Please share and help if you can.
