My nephew Nathan’s medical expenses

Donation protected
My nephew, Nathan Weingart, was struck with a massive seizure at church on Sunday the 19th of November. The seizure ended and Emergency responders started their work on him. Nathan was loaded and taken to Youngstown St Elizabeth. 2 masses were discovered during a CAT scan and MRI while Nathan was sedated to keep him still. One mass in his brain and another in his lung. He was intubated to keep him at rest while Doctors evaluated.

Nathan was transferred to The Cleveland Clinic on Monday and Brain Surgery was done on Tuesday and the mass was an abscess of infection. Intubation was removed after surgery and antibiotics continue to be given.

We were very thankful on this Thanksgiving Day to celebrate with our family as we ate turkey in the waiting room and took turns visiting Nathan.

We have been told the infection was caused by the Streptococcus anginosus bacteria and is treatable with antibiotics. A procedure was just done to make sure his heart is not involved and praise the Lord, heart is good.

Please keep Nathan in your prayers as life as he knows it has drastically changed. We pray the road to recovery will be quick and God will be glorified through this all.

Thank you in advance for your generous donation to help off set medical deductibles, co-pays, travel and lodging expenses for the family during this critical time.
