My Mother's Kidney Donation

For the great woman who gave me life, I am now returning the favor.
Earlier this year, my mother and I underwent several exams to determine if I would be a compatible kidney donor. After intensive testing, I have the privilege to give my mother one of my kidneys.
The surgery will transpire this December at Northwestern Medicine here in Chicago. She must take a leave of absence for a few months for her recovery. Being the head of her household, her funds will be very limited.
I am asking for those who can afford it, to make a single contribution of $60. Because the duration of the campaign is now until the end of December, $15 bi-weekly donations and/or $30 bi-monthly donations for a total of $60 is asked for those who can't afford the full donation at one time. The contributions will go toward her mortgage payments, utilities, food, and other household essentials.
For those who donate, I will personally send a letter/card signed by my mother and I sharing our gratitude.
