<div>Hi, my name is Marjorie Salcedo Today, I am sharing a deeply personal journey that has touched my life profoundly as well as my families life.

<div>My beloved mother, Amparo Gonzalez, has been bravely battling stage 4 cancer and is currently in a severe depression. My Mother is young and still has so much to live for, alongside myself, my sister, and my aunts , who have been living out of hospitals, accompanying her throughout her treatments and supporting her immensely day in and day out. She is the grandmother of my 7 year-old sweetheart who has been pivotal in giving her strength and courage to battle through her disease and motivating her to live to see her grow. My family has recently reunited in the US. At a time when she should be joyously enjoying life’s beautiful offerings, this disease is taking her life and tearing our family apart. I am launching a fundraising campaign to support financial needs for treatment.

<div>she has shown incredible strength and resilience throughout her fight against cancer. Witnessing my mother’s deteriorating physical and emotional state, my father’s despair, and the disabling anxiety about losing her, the overwhelming financial burden of medical treatments, medications, and other associated expenses, and the overall profound impact on our emotional health has pushed us towards turning to our community of beloved family, friends, and every individual who would have the kindness to support us.
