My Mom Toni Starke Funeral Expenses

My Mom was one of the most amazng people I have ever known. She loved so hard with all she had...and although she struggled for much of her life, she gave what little she had to those around her so they would not go without. She was such a strong woman with more fortitude and fight than most people could have ever dreamed of needing. She battled against Crohns among many other illnesses that attacked her for most of her life. She fought with all she had to be a great mother, friend, and confidant to so many while she was in constant chronic pain. She taught me from the time I was little that pain only hurt if you allowed it to hurt. She was so strong. I am the man I am today because of who she taught me to be. 

She tried to get an insurance policy to make sure to take care of us even when she was no longer with us but because of her many health issues, the policy has fallen through as she has passed due to what is technically "natural causes." 

In the end, she battled pneumonia as well as kidney failure among her already weakened immune system. 

We have begun making arrangements for her, but as her insurance policy has fallen through and they are leaving us with mere pennies, I am reaching out to my family and friends for you help in these trying times. 

My Mom gave all she had for others, and now I am giving what I have for her...
If my Mom or myself has ever touched your life, please give whatever small amount you can to help with her last wishes. There is no amount that is too small. 

We are on a bit of a deadline as the funeral home is expecting payment in full within 48 hours....I know I am not giving you much time, but I was resting upon a policy I was certain she had and am now finding myself with little time to come up with all of the funds. 
Our goal is $9,000 in order to cover all of the funeral and burial expenses.
