My Medical Expenses

This is so hard to do. I much prefer GIVING to charity than BEING charity. But with all humility I need to ask for help for myself and my furry kids.

As a few of you know I've been having even more health issues of late and these are a bit more serious. I haven't been able to work for about 2 months now and am in danger of losing my apartment. I'm needing help right away to pay my rent and bills, basically.

First, let me tell you what's wrong. In a nutshell, I can't breathe. I lose my breath as I'm talking or even just reading a book. If I walk, even sometimes from one room to another, I get out of breath like I just ran a marathon sprint. So I get light-headed, dizzy, sharp chest pains, nauseous, you name it. The problem really is that the doctors don't know what's wrong. I'm on my 4th doctor right now, this one is a cardiologist and we have started testing to see if it's a heart problem. Personally, as a NOT doctor, I think the breathing is a symptom of something else and not the disease, but who knows. There's also a number of smaller, odd symptoms happening, such as rashes and my hair is doing weird stuff, but hopefully we'll find out eventually what's going on. As anyone who has faced health issues knows though, nothing moves quickly. I had to wait a month to see the cardiologist and have to wait 2 weeks for the first tests. I'm assuming it will be another couple weeks for whatever tests are after that. And if it's not my heart then I believe we move on to a pulmonologist. In the meantime I'm basically living on my couch or bed, and on a good day, I may even be able to go buy my own groceries. I'd love to be able to at least take Jasper to the the puppy park, but I don't have the money to pay for his shots.

So as I hope you can see, I'm having a bit of a medical crisis. I still have my job at ECG, but can't return until I can actually be there on a daily basis, and I don't know when that will be. My parents have been wonderful and help as much as possible, but they can't support me. My dad has been trying to retire for over a year and they're trying to move as they're still in the house my brother passed away in, so they need every penny they have. I can't move in with them because, as they're trying to move, the house is torn up and it's a 2-story with the bedrooms upstairs and even 1 flight of stairs puts me down and out for at least a half an hour. I have taken out loans, used credit cards, basically done everything I can think of to stay afloat. But these issues have gone on much longer than I anticipated and I am basically at zero. I am attempting to find online work I can do from home, and actually got hired by a company to do online research, but I won't see any money from them for at least a month and it won't be enough, for a while anyway, to pay for much.

So I'm here to ask for ANY help at all. Any money raised will be going directly to my rent, my basic monthly bills, including health insurance from the government marketplace to pay for all these doctors, and possibly for Jasper's shots. The amount I am hoping to raise should see me through at least, or close to, 2 months, after which I would hope I'll be back to work and having a life. I don't think I know anyone who has extra money just laying around, so I understand what I am asking here and do so with all humility.

I am swallowing that annoying pride, and with tears as I type this am asking for any help anyone can give as soon as they can give it. Thank you is not enough, and may whatever diety of your choosing bless you.
