Nov 1 Update
My mama and I would like to thank every single person who has reached out, messaged, donated, asked how they can help, offered their love, support, and prayers.
We met with the oncologist today, and my mom did not receive news that we hoped for, but I will continue to look to every possible avenue to help my best friend.
My mom starts the IV mistletoe on Friday, and we have an appointment with Kawartha Natural Health Clinic on Tuesday.
Please continue to pray for my mom’s healing, and thank you all for your love and support. My mom will beat this.

As some of you may know my mom was diagnosed with an aggressive rare type of breast cancer in October 2021 at the age of 54. After doing the hardest chemo that exists for 4 rounds, followed by 4 rounds of a second chemo, my mom had surgery with 9 lymph nodes removed, followed by 25 rounds of radiation. In August 2022 she started her third type of chemo, which to our surprise was not covered by OHIP, which she was on for about 6 months before they took her off of it due to constant issues and side effects. Through this entire fight my mom continued to push through. She has severe neuropathy, hasn’t slept well in two years, has had numerous doctor appts follow ups scans in two years and still always has a smile on her face and helps me out and makes sure my kids, me and Steven, and my dad are all taken care of and have a home cooked meal on the table.

October 2023 marks two years since my moms diagnosis and my mom started having shortness of breath. On October 16th she ended up in the hospital where they drained 1.3L of fluid from her lung.
Today we received news that the fluid in her lung is cancer.

Triple negative breast cancer is awful as chemo is the only line of defence and there are few drugs to beat this thing.

We need to throw everything we can this time, my mom is 56 and has so much life to live, two grandkids who love her like their own mom, and I need my mom, my best friend, my hero.

I’ve been in touch with her naturopath who said we can start IV mistletoe and vitamin c infusions but the cost for just the mistletoe is between 200-600$ a session twice a week, as we increase the dose.
We also have spent hundreds on supplements these last two weeks and now that we have confirmation we’d like to see an herbalist who is another 500 for the initial visit.

Thank you for reading, and thank you for anything you can do to help my mama, even if it’s just praying for her healing.
