Kenny’s London Marathon Fund Raising Page.
Do you want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money in aid of Cardiac Risk in the Young and every donation will help. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
I’m running the London Marathon on October 2nd and I’d like to raise money to honour the life of Mitch MacPherson, taken way too soon. He was only my neighbour for a few years but he made a big impression on me, like he did to whoever he met. He died due to an undiagnosed heart condition. Having spoken to his fiancé Donna, she told me how much this charity did for her and their wonderful son Mitchy in the aftermath.
As most of you know I’m not much of a runner but since I started the training in March it’s going well so fingers crossed it continues that way and we can raise a great amount for a great charity.
Cardiac Risk in the Young: Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) was established in 1995 to prevent young sudden cardiac deaths (YSCD, SADS) through awareness, screening and research; and to support affected families. CRY funds fast-track services at the CRY Centre for Inherited Cardiovascular Conditions and Sports Cardiology and the CRY Centre for Cardiac Pathology.
