<div>Never in my life did I expect to be in a situation like this where I need to ask for help, but following a recent event, now I’m desperate.

<div>A week ago, I was the victim of an armed home robbery and was held at knife point by a group of individuals with machetes. They took everything from me: my car, my phone, all of my filming equipment, my computer, and my hard drives with years of videos on them. They stole my livelihood.

<div>To make matters worse, this all happened as I was facing difficulty trying to find a new place to move into. I’d been working hard to keep myself afloat, and was staying optimistic. But with the robbers still out there, I now fear for my life. I don’t have a safe home to return to, and am now staying on a friend’s couch.

<div>This event has left me shattered, and helpless on two fronts:

<div>I lost my home: I need to find a new, safe rental quickly, but the financial losses of the robbery have left me completely drained of any ability to do so.
</div>
<div>I lost my livelihood and my passion: Creating YouTube videos has been the best thing to ever happen to me. Losing all of the equipment that I had saved up to buy to follow this dream is crushing. Without my equipment I cannot film, edit or upload, meaning I can’t even help myself get back on my feet.
