With the current administration taking increasingly aggressive actions that impact green card holders like myself, I’m reaching out for community support during a very uncertain time.

As a single mom to a beautiful son, I’m doing everything I can to build a stable, secure future for us. I’ve set up a GoFundMe to help cover the cost of applying for my citizenship. Beginning September 1st, 2025 new policies are taking place to make it even harder.

If you’re in a position to donate, no matter the amount, your help would make a real difference. I’m also looking for folks who can write character reference letters to support my application.

I’ve done everything “the right way”: I’ve lived here nearly my whole life, I have no criminal record, I work hard, I pay taxes, and I raise my son with love and intention. But even with a clean record and years of contribution, the system doesn’t make it easy.

This country is my only home. And now, more than ever, I want to protect the life I’ve built here for my son and me. I don’t want to risk being separated from him or losing what I’ve worked so hard to create.
