My journey isn’t over...

I’m COMPLETELY uneasy about this but feel like I’ve exhausted all other avenue’s & w/in the last 24hrs have been encouraged by multiple family members/friends to try this... I guess when the same thing keeps being brought up you start to feel like there’s a reason, so here goes...
As most of you know, I’m a single mom & I work seven days a wk in order to keep a roof over mine & my sons head. I do not receive child support or public assistance. I don’t say that to “toot my own horn” I’m not doing anything any different than any other parent but it’s simply to say I’m not just sitting around expecting handouts.
I’m a five yr cancer survivor. I’m beyond BLESSED & thankful to still be here, but after all my radiation & chemo, multiple surgeries etc there’s A LOT that takes place after the initial cancer issue has been taken care of.
Due to the area of treatment & the extensive amt of radiation I had, I now have to deal w/the aftermath of the treatment. One of those issues is I now have major dental problems... several thousand dollars worth of problems! I can’t go to just any dentist, I have to go to OSU because they’re specifically trained for pt’s in my situation.
I’ve already started some of the dental work, but unfortunately, I’ve since found out my dental ins is basically only good for preventative measures & has maxed out at $1500. The dental college will not set up a pmt plan & it’s going to be multiple appts/trips to Columbus & back, time off work etc.
If this were just a cosmetic thing I would NEVER ask anyone for help but it’s not. I’m in constant, extremely severe pain 24/7. Over the last yr as I’ve been trying to get this figured out it’s continued to get worse & is now to a point that I really can’t eat much of anything & when I do try to eat I am having a lot of choking issues due to not being able to chew properly.
The doctors are concerned about infections & other health problems this can eventually lead to & w/an immune system that is already compromised from the cancer/treatment to begin w/that’s really not a rd I want to travel.
I know that GOD brought me through this for a reason & HE will continue to guide me on this rd to recovery but my journey isn’t over... the cancer’s gone PRAISE THE LORD! Now I just need to get over these obstacles.
Asking for help is definitely NOT my strong point & if all you are able to do is PRAY FOR ME & maybe share this post then I will be forever grateful. If you’ve taken the time to read all of this then THANK YOU & GOD BLESS!
