I am currently in Nakuru with Rafiki Mwema having the most amazing experience! Every day is an eye opening moment and I have met so many exceptional kids.
One of them is this guy. A smart, friendly, genuine amazing young man who has been dealt a life that no one deserves. From 5 years old he has been on his own. He is currently living mostly on the streets of Nakuru where it is far from safe (not just from the people who live in town but it is well known that the police are 'cleaning' up the streets by removing the boys from the streets and taking them out of town and leaving them to die/shooting them).
So I am going to give up a small thing if you all dig deep and help me get him a house. €1000 will move him in and cover rent/ furnish his house and cover every meal for around six months.
All he dreams of is his own house of safety. To have his own house with a warm blanket and food. Everything we all take for granted. The spirit of this kid is mind blowing after the life he has been dealt.
And what will I do to convince you all to help me help him?
I WILL SHAVE MY HEAD! So let’s see if this 'do' suits me and change his life at the same time.
