My Guests buy a car to gain independence

Hi, I’m Sam and I’m a the host of Two Ukrainians Anna ( Hannah Derevianko) (37) and her son Zachar (7). We live in a little village in Suffolk that has no public transport. Anna’s Sister in law Inga and her two children Polina and Igor are also living here in the village.

Anna and Zac escaped Their town of Boryspil, Kiev in March and finally made it to the sanctuary of my Smallholding on 10/04/2022

The rest of the family arrived a few weeks later.

Both Anna no Inga are looking for jobs now the children have all settled into school, but to get employment they need to be able to drive. The nearest town is 5 miles away, but the nearest Train station is 10 miles away.

Anna is a fully qualified Phycologist and is desperate to assist other Ukrainian families that have or are in the throes of escaping the conflict in their beloved home country. She is fluent in Ukrainian, Russian and English and is studying hard at advanced English.

We have been practicing her driving and the AA have kindly provided her with lessons, now all she needs is a car.

There are opportunities for her to help in Ipswich, Cambridge, Norwich and London, but without transport she can not help these families in trauma.

As a self employed Animal Carer I am sadly not in the position to buy them a car. I am desperately hoping to raise funds to help them.

Please can you help me, help Anna and to then further help other Ukrainian Refugees?

If we are blessed enough to meet or even surpass the target, any additional monies will be used to pay for the Car Insurance, Road Tax and a warranty to keep them safely on the road.
