My Grandpa’s Hip Surgery

Many of you may not know my grandfather but he’s one of the most important people in my life and many of my other family members. My grandfather’s name is Haughton Duhaney and over a year ago he was in a really bad accident. By the grace of God he survived, badly hurt but, he was alive. Since then his health has been up and down. A few months ago my family almost lost him. Scared beyond belief, all we could do is pray and hope he get better. Every other week we were on edge because one week we would get good news and then the next it’s bad. He has since been released from the hospital but my family and I are currently in a bind and is asking for help.

My grandfather currently lives in Kingston, Jamaica and for anyone who is a Jamaican native or knows about Jamaica, you know that everything is out of pocket. He needs hip replacement surgery and suffers from multiple myeloma also, amongst many other things. His surgery is expensive and we don’t have much time or the resources to pay for it ourselves. I understand that this is a tough time for everyone with the virus but any little thing helps. Even if it’s a dollar you all can donate, we will greatly appreciate it. We are only seeking enough to pay for his surgery and we’ll do our best to cover the rest. My grandparents are proud people and will never ask for help. I listen to my grandmother all the time hold back the tears from being stressed, scared, overwhelmed, etc. 

My grandfather would literally take the shirt off of his back to help someone in need, help my family do the same for him. Please share with friends and family. Help us reach our goal.
