<div>Unfortunately our Dad passed away on the 6th of March so I am finalising this Go Fund Me page that he started, my Dad wrote this a few weeks ago and I have just found it. Me and my sister are heartbroken with the loss of our Dad, he was the best Dad in the world and never deserved this ending. Thank You for all of your support and love, my family and I appreciate everything.

<div>Love, Ava and Flo x
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Hi, my name is Mark, I have Myeloma blood cancer and I haven’t got long left to live.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I’ve been a single parent to my two beautiful girls Ava and Flo since Christmas 2014. They are my greatest achievement. All I’ve ever wanted is to provide them with an abundance of love and support so they can have a life where they’re not held back but instead can spread their wings and look to the future.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My life hasn’t always been an easy one, early on I struggled to get on the first rung of the ladder, I’d had to leave home just turning 17, lived in bedsits and the local YMCA. It was difficult to focus, difficult to see how I’d get out of the rut I was in, it was a struggle.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>After some time, I got myself back into college. I was receiving Income Support of £36.50 a week to live on so I took a job I wasn’t allowed to do by the benefits system at a local shop and earned another £45 just so I could pay the bus fare and lunch money to get myself to college. Inevitably the benefits system caught up with me, I was called in and there were two Policemen to arrest me for fraud against the Queen. I was in a catch 22 situation, chance it or not better myself. I paid it all back but the main thing is I got into University. From that point my life started to improve.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I don’t and have never wanted that kind of struggle for my girls. Not everyone makes it.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Before getting ill and being diagnosed March 2021, I’d never ask anyone for help. I’d struggled and I was proud, too proud, as I’ve found that in life you should lean on those around you sometimes and ask for help.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My girls will have some money to get them started as I have some life cover, but I was never able to get back on the property ladder after having to give up the family home when they were younger.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I’d like them to be a little more comfortable and hope for Ava to finish her final year at Uni and for Flo to go to Uni too. But to do that they need a stable roof over their heads and to not have to worry too much about paying the bills.
</div>
<div>this is why I’ve turned to you, to ask for some help, to lean on you a little and see if you may help my girls in some way to make up a little for losing their Dad.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Please donate what is ok and comfortable for you, and know that you are helping my two beautiful girls to keep living without me, to be able to focus on their futures and happiness under the hard circumstances they will be in soon.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Lots of love and thanks,
</div>
<div>Mark
</div>
<div>x
</div>
