In 2006 I was diagnosed with nasopharyngeal cancer.
I was given chemo and radiation for three months. I recieved radiation five days a week for three months and chimo every Friday of the week for three months. These were the most horrible days of my life. I had constant nausea and vomiting. My neck hurt and felt burnt all the time. I couldn't sleep laying down on my bed for almost a year. I had pain all over my body and in my joints. It was horrible, but I was happy because they had told me that I was cured. I was very happy.
After six months I had to go back to work. I still had the port on my chest for the chemo and the feeding tube I had on my stomach. I still had to eat liquid food through the feeding tube. I couldn't eat anything solid through my mouth.
After they took away the feeding tube I had to go through a series of classes with an expert to learn how to eat again. My esophagus was very narrow and it hurt when food passed by it. After the treatment I was left with a lot of side effects that still affect my daily living. Like for example: no saliva, problems with my thyroides, (Hypothyrodism.) Burnt and pain on my neck, Sinusitis, Pain in joints and muscles, etc. I spent ten years of my life free of cancer. They had told me that the cancer would never come back. At the begenning they tested me every six months for any sign of cancer, then every year for five years. After the five years passed they told me I was free of cancer. I was very happy.
Well after ten years I started having feeling of being sick all the time with chills and fever, cough, pain. I was feeling no good. I went to the doctor and they tested me for all kind of illnesses mostly related to the autoimmune system. For one year they couldn't find out anything. Well at the end they did find out that my cancer had come back with a vengaence. The cancer had come back and it was in stage 4 and it was spread all over the lymph nodes in my body. It was devastated to me to hear this.
Because the cancer was already in stage 4 and spread out all over they couldn't use radiation to shrink it so they could only use chemo to fight it. The oncologist told me that they will not be able to cure the cancer because it was incurable, but that they could control the spread and manage it until certain limits, that they didnt't garantee anything. Another devastated news I had to swallow.
I started getting chemo every month for six months and it was traditional chemo which made me sick all the time. After six months they put me in a different chemo for a few months and it didn't work, then last they put me in an another one that didn't work. The lymph nodes were not shrinking, but growing in size and all they say was to wait. I've been on this kind of treatmen since July 2016. Its gonna be almost a year without any positive solid result. Today I have a lymph node under my left arm the size of a ping pong ball and no sign of shrinking.
I'm experiencing also some side effects from the chemo treatment like: tireness and fatigue all the time, pain in my joints and muscle, pain on neck. My face is swollen due to the cancer and on the right side of my neck I might have cancer on the skin due to the radiation I had in 2006.
Now on top of all these misfortunes my mother had suffered a stroke three months ago and was placed in a rehab center to rehabilitate her, but she had no improvement and after two months the insurance ended her stay at the facility and sent her home. I lived with my mom. She is not able to do anything on her own. Somebody comes to wash her and to check her vital signs during the week for a few minutes. When they are done they leave and I have to stay with her and attend her, something that is very limited to me due to my condition. I clean her and change her diaper when she needs it and it is most of the time. I have to prepare her food. I have to give her the medications she needs and I have to put her to bed and put her on the wheelchair after i dress her in the morning to be ready for dialasy because she is on dialasy three days a week. I do all this everyday with a lot of difficulties because I'm sick, but I have to do it becauses if I don't do it no one will. I have been telling her to place her in a nursing home where there they can give her the attention that she needs. I don't think I'm doing a good job due to the limitations of my condition, but I am trying my best.
She refusses to go to a nursing home and in the mean time I'm the one who is suffering because a sick person is attending another sick person. Its really frustraded. I try to do my best, but its not enough.
Through a friend I found out about this chinese doctor that practices chinese medicine and traditional medicine here in Miami and other parts of the world. His name is Marcelo Lam. The doctor had cured many people with cancer according to testimonies on the internet and throgh word of mouth. I went to see him on 5/25/17. He had prepared a treatment for me that according to him at the end of the treatment I am going to see very positive results and a possible cure. I had read testimonies that say how the doctor had cured them or their loved one with his treatments and had convenced me that I will see great results at the end of my treatment. The treatment is for 30 to 90 days and its based on injections and pills. The treatment will cost me $8500.00. I am hopping and reaching for people with good will and good heart to help me on this crusade to see if I can kill this monster cancer once and for all. I am asking for any one that could donate whatever they can so I can have this treatment and enjoy life again.
Due to my condition I can't work and I can't wait any longer to resolve this so importan matter.
I will really appreciate all the help that anyone can give me.
