My friend whos house flooded in the liverpool floods

Hi im mel,

My friend is unaware that i have made this as she wouldnt ask a soul for anythin, but i feel like its the least i can do for her.

Im sure everybody was aware of the floods in bootle last week, as seen on the news and media.

My best friend was unfortunately one of the victims of this flooding.

She has lost completely everything from the lower floor of her home, and due to the drastic damage the flooding has caused, lost her home!

When i say everything was destroyed i mean everything! Sofa, fridge, washing machine, oven even down to her flooring, soft furnishings, tv and even knives , forks , plates..... EVERYTHING!

Myself, friends and family have rallied round to try and help as much as we can but we feel so powerless.

No amount of money can heal the damage mentally and physically but it can help her to make a fresh start when she is eventually re housed!
