My name is Verlie, Josaia is my partner of 5 years. For the last 2 and half years I have been trying to get Joe back to Australia on a partner visa.
On Thursday night his family home was destroyed by Yasa. Joe and his family have been struggling along on what I can provide for them, because due to Covid - 19 the people in his family haven't been able to get work this last year.
Now Yasa has taken their home.... I'm reaching out to friends, family and generous strangers for help for Joe and his family.

Update: we have reached our $10000 goal but will be happy if we keep donations going so Joe and his family can have a bathroom and kitchen.....Joe and I are overwhelmed with the response by everyone and so thankful. Honestly Joe's family is so sad yesterday and today there hearts are so full.
