Jim Beavers Cancer Treatment

My father, James Beavers, has a rare form of cancer called Signet Ring Cell Carcinoma stage 3. A year ago he went to the hospital discovering he had lost over half the blood in his body, had a infection in his body and a cancerous tumor in his colon and he began his treatment. Twelve rounds of chemo over twenty four weeks. During the process he became very sick and even developed diabetes and diabetic neuropathy in his feet making it very difficult to walk or stand. In January we were told the was no sign of reoccurrence and he was given the all clear. Shortly after he began getting stomach pains which we discovered was diverticulitis. He was treated but the pain continued. Today we learned that the cancer has resurfaced in his stomach and requires a specialist in Houston. Unfortunately my father has been unable to work for a year and funds are depleting making it impossible to travel and get the care he desperately needs.  I have made this account in hopes that through the kindness of others my father can get his treatment and return to us healthy. At this point anything will help. All funds will be going towards his treatment, and living expenses to help him recover.
