<div>I'm raising emergency funds for my father, a U.S. veteran currently in the Philippines, who is facing a medically urgent and deeply precarious situation. Though he receives disability benefits, those do not cover medical care abroad. He’s been in and out of the hospital recently, paying out of pocket for critical treatment on a fixed income. Now, he’s stranded — without funds for continued care, without access to essential medications, and without a way to get home to the U.S., where he could receive the coverage and treatment he needs.

<div>We’ve submitted a doctor’s note to his airline requesting an earlier flight home, but it’s been two days with no response. He’s several hours from the nearest hospital, would need to hire a driver just to get there, and has no money left for treatment. His health is at risk, and we’re running out of time.

<div>Your donation would go directly toward whatever comes next: transportation to the airport or embassy, emergency medical care, or evacuation costs. To be transparent, I don’t yet know what the full path looks like — only that we need to act quickly. Getting him home is the top priority. If that’s not possible immediately, we need to stabilize him where he is.
