<div>On Friday 30th of May 2025,Our family home of 30 years was demolished and burnt to the ground due to a malfunctioning heater.My parents barely escaped with their lives.My mother Maria had gotten up to shower for work and in the midst, a loud explosion had occurred in my parents bedroom.My dad, an 82 year old man was still in deep sleep.My mother, a 68 year old lady rushed to wake him but he did not wake.Dragging him and pulling him to the door, he finally woke and evidently saved his life.He tried to extinguish the fire but it was too late.He tried to save the life our 7 dogs, yet only 5 remain alive and healthy.We thank god they escaped with their lives.

<div>The house has significant fire damage throughout and a completely collapsed roof of 60% of the house.All belongings,valuables,clothes and memorabilia all destroyed in the flames.My parents,who have worked all their lives for this house,provided and cared for me and my siblings and moved from their native countries over 45 years ago, have lost everything.With no insurance and living off pension and entitlements,A mortgage which recently was paid off completely all to ashes.

<div>As this is a recent occurrence, the future is still blurry.The entire family is devastated and news has reached around Australia and the world via News networks and social media.

<div>My parents are coming to latter stages of their lives.I hope to give them a stress free mind as they have worked their entire life to give their kids a stress free life.God has a plan and their plan is to live another day.The charalambous family would like to thank everyone for their generosity and compassion in this disastrous time.
