My name is Sophie Hedley - Goggin and i am an aspiring film director creating a new short film called “ My Dearest Martha “ . i have decided to donate all of the money i make before my film launch party and on the eving of my film launch party to my chosen two charities ( Young epilepsy and Caring Hands ) .

But what do these two charities stand for ?

Young epilepsy helps people around the UK who suffer with a brain condition called Epilepsy. They support the epileptic community by creating online social groups for them to understand a bit more about their epilepsy , for the parents to speak to people about their concerns and for the epileptics themselves to meet others with the illness to make new friends . They also push for our society to understand and support epileptics by making changes in school environments, work environments, entertainment sectors and much much more . As a charity , they do SO SO SO MUCH MORE and i am proud to have worked with them in the past .

As an epileptic myself this charity means a lot to me and i want to carry on adding to the £2,129.05 i have raised for them in the past.

Caring hands is a charity that helps rough sleepers and people in need such as :

The charity is based in Evesham and takes food donations 24/7 at numerous food banks and provides hot meals for those in need twice a week . Furthermore, they provide free showers and toilets for the homeless to use . I am volunteering for them at the moment and have learnt so about how they run their charity and all the effort and care they put into their food packages .

I have chosen this charity as i feel homelessness and people struggling up and down the uk is increasing due to inflation , so i would like to help out the best i can ☺️ .
