Hi, my name is Dana, I am fundraising for my daughter Kandice- she fell and hit her head, resulting in a skull fracture, a brain bleed and a blood clot in her brain. She had emergency brain surgery and survived, thank God! She was in ICU for a few days, moved to a rehabilitation facility and is doing a lot better- but still has a long road ahead of her. She has been a nurse and taking care of other people for 16 years and now she needs help - she will not be able to work for a while because she will need time to get the brain-body connection again . I live across the country and can't be there to help, but she has 2 great kids at home, Anthony, 16 and Madi 14- so anything will help.
