My dad and brother were t-boned

A couple of weeks ago my dad and little brother were in a horrible car accident. No one was drunk or falling asleep or anything. They were t-boned by a 20 year old kid driving a truck. It was a complete accident.
When you’re living your life day to day, you never think you or anyone you know will experience these things. But accidents do happen. They happen every single day and they could happen to you just as easily as this one happened to my family.
I sat on the idea of starting a GoFundMe for a while now. One big reason was because we weren’t sure my dad would still be alive today. 3 days after the accident I had doctors tell me he wouldn’t make it through the weekend. And here we are, 13 days after the accident and he’s improving a little bit every single day.
My dads recovery will be a very long, painful process. He is currently in a hospital in Vermont with a wonderful team of people helping him survive. I decided to start a GoFundMe to help not only with medical bills and his time off from work, but to also help me and my siblings be able to be up here, be with him and help him recover as much as possible. Being so far from home and a long way to recovery, it will become very expensive and exhausting.
I have received so many prayers, love and support from family, friends and complete strangers. I appreciate every single one of you as we go through this trying time ❤️ Keep all the good thoughts coming. Any help you are able to provide, big or small, is appreciated more than you will ever know.
