Help Us Support Rey’s Fight Against Cancer
My cousin Rey holds a very special place in my heart. He has always been there for me and my family, not just during celebrations and special occasions, but in the quiet, everyday moments too. When my late mum was going through haemodialysis, Rey was by our side. He gave his time, care, and presence without ever being asked.
Rey is the kind of person who gives so much of himself - his time, his effort, and even financial support - to anyone who needs it. Whether helping me with errands or spending time with my children when I needed a hand, he’s always shown up with kindness and generosity.
He even taught me how to drive an automatic car back in our hometown, a memory I’ll always cherish.
Rey is my cousin on my mother’s side - the eldest son of Auntie Luzviminda, my mum’s sister.
Now, it’s our turn to be there for him.
Rey has recently been diagnosed with Stage 3 Squamous Cell Carcinoma - a particularly aggressive form of cancer. He will need chemotherapy twice a month, and unfortunately, the treatment is extremely expensive when done privately.
Our hearts are broken, mine, my family’s, and everyone who knows and loves Rey.
We’re reaching out to friends, family, and anyone who may be able to help us raise funds toward his medical expenses. Any amount, no matter how small, will mean so much to us.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for helping us support Rey in this fight.
With love and gratitude,
The Winter, Gamboa & Manaloto Family
