My Cookie

My Beautiful Rescue Pit Cookie has been diagnosed with Osteosarcoma. It is an aggressive bone cancer and the only humane treatment is amputation of the affected limb and Chemo.  That gives usually at least a year of quality life but I am also going to get her on the newest therapy which is a vaccine newly created which can give 3,4 and even more years of quality life.
   I have done a lot of donating on go fund me even for strangers and I am hoping I have paid it forward somewhat.  The total cost to us with the new vaccine will be around 15k and I am going to ask for help with about 1/3 of the total cost.
    I had my doubts about rescuing a pit bull, but after doing some research I realized they had gotten a bad rap and I decided that I would adopt a rescue and Cookie has turned out to be the sweetest most loving animal I have ever known. She is the light of my life and I would do anything within my power to help her avoid a quick painful death.
    The surgery consult is Today and the surgery should follow very quickly thereafter.
   I do not like to ask for help and I will find a way but if you can help out a little bit no matter how small we would be most appreciative
