<div>My name is Anita, and I’m a former Olympic figure skater and two-time Swedish National Champion. Skating has always been a big part of my life. It’s where I’ve grown up, pushed my limits, and experienced some of my most meaningful moments.
</div>

<div>Three years ago, I made the decision to step away from competitive skating. I was going through a tough period, facing mental health issues and other personal challenges that made it hard to continue. It became clear that I needed to focus on my well-being and take a break from the intense demands of elite sport.
</div>

</div>
<div>That time away allowed me to recover, reflect, and build a more balanced life outside of skating. I began studying psychology, started coaching young skaters, and over time, I found my way back to the joy of skating—this time on my own terms.
</div>

</div>
<div>Today, I’m in a much healthier and more stable place, and I feel ready to return to the sport. Since this spring, I’ve been training with the goal of competing again this upcoming season. I’m building new programs, getting back into shape, and committing fully to this comeback.
</div>

</div>
<div>But as many of you know, figure skating is an expensive sport. Ice time, coaching, choreography, travel, camps, equipment, costumes, and off-ice training all come with high costs. As a full-time student, I don’t have the financial means to cover everything on my own.
</div>

<div>Jag heter Anita och är före detta olympier  och tvåfaldig svensk mästare. Konståkningen har alltid varit en stor del av mitt liv. Det är där jag vuxit, utvecklats och upplevt några av mina mest betydelsefulla ögonblick.
</div>

<div>För tre år sedan tog jag beslutet att ta en paus från elitidrotten. Jag gick igenom en tuff period med psykisk ohälsa och andra personliga utmaningar som gjorde det svårt att fortsätta satsa som tidigare och hantera den press som kommer med elitidrotten. Det blev tydligt att jag behövde prioritera mitt välmående och ta en paus från den intensiva vardagen som elitkonståkare.

<div>Pausen gav mig möjlighet att återhämta mig, reflektera och bygga upp ett liv vid sidan av sporten. Jag började studera psykologi, jobba som tränare och hittade så småningom tillbaka till glädjen till sporten – den här gången på mina egna villkor.

<div>Idag mår jag mycket bättre, både mentalt och fysiskt, och känner mig redo att återvända till sporten. Sedan i våras har jag tränat med målet att tävla igen den kommande säsongen.
</div>

<div>Men som många av er säkert redan vet är konståkning en dyr sport. Isträningar, fysträningar, tränaravgifter, koreografi, resor, träningsläger, utrustning och dräkter innebär höga utgifter. Med tanke på att jag studerar heltid är det svårt att på egen hand finansiera satsningen.
