My Child Left Home for Heaven

My Child Left Home for Heaven is a 501c3 that was formed to help families with grief support in the loss of a child. The organization holds support groups host a bi-monthly podcast and assists families with funeral expenses for those qualifying for financial help . My Child Left Home for Heaven also has partnered with 3 other nonprofits to help with the current drug overdose and fentanyl crisis, through educational materials for schools and advocacy /educational community events. In 2023 we are working on getting billboards warning on the danger of drug use and fentanyl poisoning, starting in the Tampabay Area. There were 110,000 overdose deaths in 2021 with 77,000 of those being fentanyl related. Unfortunately some of those deaths were individuals being offered a drug laced with this deadly opioid. Please help us in offering support in 2023 as well as offering education and community awareness on drug related deaths. One, if not the most devastating events a family can endure is that of the loss of a child. My Child Left Home for Heaven hopes to help families realize that sorrow and joy can co-exsist.
