My Calling to India

Hi friends! About 5 years ago, God placed India on my heart.  I have always had a special love for children there without fully comprehending why.  While attending bible college in Spain back in 2014, I had been introduced to woman who is actively involved in an organization called House of Hope in India.  House of Hope is a school that aims to meet the social and spiritual needs of some of the poorest and disadvantaged children from the slum areas.  This friend of mine had offered for me to come out and visit the school multiple times but I had always found reasons why I couldn't.  However, earlier this week, God had spoken to me and He told me that for my 21st birthday, He wants me to go to India to serve His children there and show them His love.   And it occured to me that there will never be a perfect time to put life on pause and travel to a different country so this time I am saying yes to His call and trusting that He will provide! I will be flying to India in August and the goal is to purchase my plane ticket by the 18th of July, which is in 2 weeks. Crazy, I know!! I'm fully trusting God on this one.  The funds raised will be put towards the purchase of my plane ticket.  I cannot begin to express how grateful I would be to receive any help from my friends and family. Thank you for all the love and support! Prayers are much needed and appreciated!!
