Elijah Freeman hit by Drunk Driver

On May 23rd Dylan Elijah Freeman was hit by a drunk driver on his motorcycle. The woman got out of her car, said he was fine, and told her boyfriend they had to go. Her boyfriend left on foot and she fled the scene. She was found a short time later. She had jumped the curve in her vehicle. Trying to get away from law enforcement. She ended up in a restaurant parking lot. Eli was rushed to the hospital. CT scan was found to have a severe dislocated knee with a vascular compression. He was rushed into emergency surgery. His artery in his leg was beyond repair. So they had to take an artery from his left leg. To put into his right. The Dr was able to finally get a pulse after having to make a cut through the skin and muscle on both sides of the calves. That allowed room for swelling. He is unable to feel his leg from the knee down. He can wiggle his toes but can’t lift his foot up and down. They said his tendons was compromised as well leading to his foot. After almost 7 hours the blood flow was finally restored. He has pins and rods in his leg to keep his knee & leg aligned. He is missing teeth, all scratched up, and bruised while the woman who hit him is walking free. She is able to be at home with her family while Eli was all alone in the hospital. I am asking for money to help ease the pain of financial stress due to what this woman has caused. Eli will have to have multiple surgeries in the future to correct what this woman has done.
