My brother needs a kidney & $5000

I am starting this page for my younger brother Keith. He is in need of a kidney and $5000 to cover the transplant and subsequent medicines he will need to take for the rest of his life.  Unfortunately due to diabetes, he has been unable to work for the last 5+ years.  The Social Security Supplemental Disability doesn't cover the cost of all the medicines and doctors visits he will need and the hospital is telling him he needs to have at least $5000 in his bank account before they even do a transplant should a kidney become available.
   He has been undergoing dialysis now for over a year and it's not going very well. The diabetes has affected his health in a lot of ways and his kidney shutting down was sudden and unexpected.  He is one of the kindest persons I know and has always gone out of his way to help all his family and friends. Now he is in need of help from others. He is currently living alone and trying to deal with all of these issues by himself.
  Unfortunately, because diabetes is so prevalent in our family, there is no immediate family member that can donate a kidney.
  I've already lost 1 brother to diabetes and kidney failure and my oldest brother to heart failure both within the last 3 years. 
   More than anything, he needs the kidney and I would appreciate it and he would also if you or someone you know would be willing to get tested to see if you are a match for donating a kidney. 
The need is urgent and his health situation is becoming more overwhelming each day.
    Any amount you can donate is appreciated and will go directly to his medical care.

 There are no financial costs to the person(s) wanting to get tested for organ donation or the eventual donor.
