My big sister, Lizzy♡

My big sister Liz, has always been a hero of mine. She’s worked hard for everything she has, all the while helping anyone in need that crosses her path. She is generous and kind, and as the oldest of 6, has been a rock for me and my family on so many occasions. For these reasons, it is with great sadness I share that Lizzy has been facing the greatest battle of her life. Three years ago she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer, and has been fighting ever since. Her cancer is stage IV, and has spread into her digestive system and intestinal tract. Sadly, in this world we live in, cancer doesn’t stop copays, treatment costs, pain relief, nor financial freedom from everyday expenses (mortgage, utilities, groceries, etc.). Before Liz can even receive treatment, she has to meet her high deductible premium of $7,200. No one with cancer should have to worry about their medical treatment so that they can live another day, nor worry about being homeless, because they can’t pay their bills while they are so sick. I want you to know that Lizzy would never ask for help, as I mentioned before she’s worked for everything she has. As her sister, I know what she needs, and that’s why I am starting this Go Fund Me page. Lizzy, AKA Auntie Lizzy, who has always greeted life with her big smile, could use any financial help she can get. Anything helps large or small. If you are unable to donate, sharing this page would help, as the more people that see and share may be able to help my big sister…my rock…my sunshine, as she battles through this disease. Prayers for my sister are also in need. Prayers for this ugly cancer to leave her body, prayers for relief from the pain it has wreaked in her, prayers for financial relief, and prayers for peace. My heart aches that we live in a system, where someone like my sister has to take on all of these additional stresses, while fighting for her life.
