My name is Diego, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your kindness and support during a very challenging time for my family and me.

For the past two years, my abuelita's health has been steadily declining, and my dad and I have been doing everything in our power to give her the care and love she deserves. Recently, we moved her to a nursing home in Mexico where she could be comfortable

and well cared for. However, her health struggles have taken a heartbreaking turn. She has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, Addison’s disease, and renal failure—each a profound challenge on its own.

Just when we thought we were managing her care, she suffered a devastating fall that fractured the neck of her femur, requiring emergency surgery. Now, her recovery depends on costly medications and intensive therapy—things she urgently needs but cannot afford.

My abuelita has been a pillar of love and strength in our family, always showing us unconditional love, patience, and care. She embodies the warmth and kindness that grandmothers are known for, and I want so badly to give her the best quality of life in her

remaining time.

Being far away from her, I can no longer care for her physically, and it breaks my heart. I am humbly asking for your generosity and support to ensure she has access to the treatment and care she so desperately needs. Any contribution, no matter how small,

will make a meaningful difference in her life and in our family’s journey through this difficult time.
