My Beloved Father's Services

Hey guys. Julio Avila, Jr., here.  Many of you know my dad from the times you'd visit me and from our time in baseball. My dad is a hardcore DODGER's fan and he also loved to play and coach for our Sunday League teams throughout the many years. My dad is a kind, funny and caring man. And if you ever had the honor of talking to him , then it meant you listened to his very funny stories from back in the day. My dad would do ANYTHING for his family. No matter the time of day or the distance, he was always there. My dad is my SUPER HERO and my Idol.

I tried to keep this as private as possible. Nonetheless, and as some of you close to me personally may already know, my beloved dad Julio Sr. was disgnosed last year August 2017 with a form of neck cancer. We ultimately felt that once treatment (chemo and radiation) began, that he would be healed eventually, according to our faith and prayers and the way my dad was positively taking to treatment.

My dad went in knowing that he would have to fight hard and strong. And for a moment, things actually looked promising for him. However, prior to the end of 2017, his health was challenged with emergency hospital visits and overnight stays. Since that time, his health has declined drastically and there is nothing the doctors can do to help my daddy any longer. 

Currently my dad is in Hospice and just being made to feel comfortable, before the inevitable occurs. I hate to ask for help in this, but I really don't  have any other way. All I ask is for help with whatever one can. This fund will assist me for my father's services, which we are just waiting on, once my daddy takes his last breath of life and joins the LORD and HEAVEN above. Please pray for my beloved dad aka mi Viejo and my family while we go through trying and most difficult of times.
