My B'day Vision: Eyesight for Choco

Please help this sweet, blind dog see again. Choco was rescued from being euthanized at a crowded shelter in Madera County, California and found his way to me. His history remains a mystery and so does his exact age. Choco is completely housebroken and a very sweet and loving dog, but being blind is tough. Choco tires more easily, is very cautious, easily bumps into things, and can't descend stairs on his own. 

Choco was identified as a good candidate for eye surgery by UC Davis, but it is an expensive surgery.  The funds raised here would cover the estimated cost of Choco's surgery and his initial office visit. He is scheduled to be evaluated at Veterinary Vision in San Francisco on August 19, 2017.
