My AIDS hospital bill

Long story short: Medi-Cal -- California's name for Medicaid -- failed to pay my convalescent hospital bill of $3,886.00.  Obviously, I appealed their decision, and they still said no. I cannot afford to pay this bill as my only income is Social Security Disability Insurance due to my HIV/AIDS, and a modest pension of $629.34. 

I asked my family for help, and was turned down. 

Sadly, there is a family trust which will provide for my medical costs, but only upon my Mother's passing. Since she is in good health for her age, she'll probably outlive me, so this trust will be of no good to me since my current life expectancy is about 2 years.

I was infected in 1983, so I should have passed in 1993 or 1994, yet here I am in 2017, thanks to modern medicine AND the grace of God. Not surprisingly, my health is, finally, failing, and I do not want to leave this life in debt. My requested amount is to cover my current hospital bill, my GoFundMe fees, and the cost of another hospital stay, which given my health is a  very real possibility. I was blindsided once, and, as they say, "fool me once -- shame on you. Fool me twice -- shame on me."
