<div>Thanks for taking the time to visit my gofundme page. I'm raising £20,000 and hopefully more by attempting a solo English Channel swim in July 2025 for 5 causes close to my heart....

</div>
<div><a href="https://www.rafbf.org/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund</a> - this is for my darling Dad who sadly died just 7 days before my Channel relay swim in 2021. This was his charity as RAFBF helped Dad and his family when he lost his Dad in WW2.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><a href="https://camps.ymcaboston.org/pleasant-valley/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Pleasant Valley Camp</a> - YMCA Greater Boston - my summer camp in the USA that helped shape me as a young woman and gives young girls and women a place to learn independence, flourish and grow. Everyone who attends camp gets swimming lessons. I am PVC alumni and a member of their Board of Advisors.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><a href="https://www.charliespromise.org/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Charlie's Promise</a> - a local charity set up by a brave family who tragically lost their son and brother after he was stabbed at a party. Charlie's Dad promised him that he would educate youngsters about the danger of carrying knives. I know some of Charlie's extended family through our swimming connection.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><a href="https://www.youngminds.org.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Young Minds</a> - helping young people facing and battling mental health issues. This shockingly seems to be affecting more and more families. This is also the charity supported by my husbands firm in 2024.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><a href="https://www.dementiauk.org/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Dementia UK</a> - I have several friends whose parents are suffering with dementia and many more that have been affected by this cruel illness. There is so much more research needed in this area of medicine.

<div><br />
</div>
<div>Each cause will receive an equal split of the funds I raise. Please note that my swim may happen before or after July 2025 or maybe not at all - if bad weather or serious injury causes an abort then any funds donated will still be distributed.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Once you donate, I will withdraw funds directly in October 2025. It's the most efficient way to donate and I will ensure that the funds get to these worthwhile causes.

<div>Please follow me on my socials where I plan to give updates on my training.......
