Grieving Fund

Just last Tuesday my mother, Jill, faced the worst form of tragedy a mother could withstand. Her son and my older beloved brother passed away unexpectedly. Her heart was broken and even writing this now it’s difficult to talk about. 
   My brother was her sole supporter. He helped pay for the place they lived, because she suffered from a stroke and was put on disability and wasn’t making enough to live on her own. With my brother’s passing she finds herself facing becoming homeless, but because of the wonderful help and support of our community, friends and family she has a place to stay for a while with her best friend Anne. She’s worried though that she is putting too much stress on her.
   We are trying to raise funds to help our mother become self sustainable and find a place she can find home. 
The funds would be used to help her afford a one bedroom apartment in the Elgin/Austin, Texas area. The expenses would include a deposit, first and last months rent, and her monthly rent on the apartment.  We are hoping that she will be in an apartment by Thanksgiving this year.
 This support for my mother would mean a lot to her because she would have her own space to grieve and gain a new beginning back. This support would mean a lot to me and my family because we want her to know that she can still survive with the help of family, friends, and donors. 
   This tragedy in our family has been difficult but we have hope and faith that life will continue on. We greatly appreciate your love, support, and prayers. Thank you so much for even taking the time to read this.
