Help Baby Hunter

Donation protected
On February 9th 2015, Danielle and Stuart Wakeman became Mommy and Daddy to their son, Hunter Wilson Wakeman. What was expected to be a very joyous and happy day turned into a very scary time for the Wakemans.  Hunter endured some very serious complications during birth and was not breathing when he made his debut into the world.  The medical team at Sauk Prairie Clinic needed to perform CPR on Hunter to save his life.  They were successful in doing so but quickly realized he would need to be transported to the NICU at Meriter Hospital in Madison.  Once there, Hunter started to make some progress until the night of February 11th when he had a bad bout of pulmonary hypertension where his heart did not pump any blood to his lungs for 12 minutes.  Hunter's condition seemed to be worsening.  Ever since then, the Wakeman and Brunner families have been on a very hilly roller-coaster ride. There have been good days and bad days but thanks to the expert staff at the Meriter NICU, (Hunter's home since he was born,) Hunter's condition has been less touch and go recently. However, this promising news has come at an overwhelming cost to Hunter and his parents. With the extremely high cost of hospital bills, being away from work, plus another 2-4 week minimum time frame before the thought of going home can be entertained, anybody would understand that they could use a little help. Please consider giving what you can to help this family get back to a sense of normalcy and to help them focus their time and energy on getting their little boy back to health. Your generosity is so greatly appreciated!!!!
