Stopping Kitten Season Catastrophe

Hello my name is Anna,
I foster and volunteer for a non profit organization named Cuddly Creatures (CuddlyCreaturesInc.com). I would like to raise money for a trap and release program for cats/kittens. Once we trap, we test for FIV/felv and we then spay or neuter. We also give distemper & rabies shots. We hold them for 3-5 days after surgery. We deworm and feed them while holding.
In the warm months, capstar to kill fleas & apply flea prevention. We asses each one while in holding to determine if we can make them adoptable or if they would be happier placed back into their feral colony.
These cats live in a commercial area near restaurant dumpsters. There are at least 30 cats in one colony and there are several colonies within 10-15 minutes of them.
Our goal is to trap and release in order to keep these colonies healthy and to try to prevent them from continuing to breed. These colonies are located off of a busy road and unfortunately during kitten season you often see dead kittens on the side of the road. It is a sad situation.
I urge you to please assist in any way you can. Every little bit helps. We are a handful of volunteers we nand we truly need support and the funds to do this. I pursonally worked with several feral cats/kittens and was able to rehabilitate them into making them amazing lovable household pets!!! I am cuurently fostering a feral kitten named Penelope from this colony and she is very sweet and lovable. Kitten season is approaching and we need your help!!!
