 Hello,

I am writing to you for two purposes; the first is to introduce you to our West Side Little League organization and the second is to request your support for our ongoing efforts to fund the Manchester  Little League Intermediate Team’s (12 & 13 year olds) trip to the 2015 Eastern Regional Little League Tournament in Commack, NY this July 23 – 30th.

 West Side Little League has been a mainstay for both the community and our youth for many years, and we teach the merits and benefits of teamwork, competition, and sports to roughly 200 children each year. The players range in age from 4 to13 and live throughout our community.  While we do have a small operating budget, we are a non-profit organization and it is simply not enough to fund the full cost of transportation and room & board for 13 players for a one week trip to the Eastern Regional Little League Tournament in New York this month.

      We are looking to raise $6,000 to fund our players’ trip to this tournament.  The players will be holding
car washes in Manchester this weekend to help raise the necessary funds.  We would appreciate any donation your business might be able to make toward our players’ trip.   We’re very proud of their achievement and look forward to seeing them make this trip of a lifetime that they and their parents will always treasure.   All contributors will be recognized on our league website ( www.mwsll.com ) for the 2015-16 season, and within our 2016 League Program.

Manchester West Side Little League a non-profit uses any donations for all operating expense, including uniforms, field maintenance and expenses.  All donations are appreciated .   These donations help to keep the player costs down as well as player expenses for tournament travel.
