James Kay II Stroke Fund

On February 17, 2015, Jimmie had a stroke.  His back/neck had been bothering him and then his right side when numb & he started slurring his words & said it hurt to talk.  He got to the hospital right away.  They found a blood clot in his neck and had to do emergency surgery to remove it.  The surgery went well they did have to put a stint in to help the blood flow.  He's not able to move his right side at this time but he is starting to regain some feeling in right arm and leg.  He's also talking again which is amazing because before the surgery he would barely nod yes or no to questions the doctor asked.  He's seen speech and physical therapists and they seem confidant in his recovery.  It's just going to be taking it one day at a time.  I know God is working though and I'm believing for total recovery! Jimmie is the sole provider for his family; wife, four kids, & four dogs.  They are unsure how long he will need to be in the hospital or how long he will be out of work.  The hospital is 2 hours away from their home, so between being away from the kids, traveling for Katie, food, bills piling up - I wanted to start a fund for them.  I know Jimmie has a lot of friends & family who love him & would like to help.  I wasn't sure how much to raise, but figured I had to start somewhere.  Please donate what you can.  Even $5 will help!  If you are seeing this on Facebook, PLEASE share!!!  Thank you so very much for your generosity!
