Mwindo's Healing

In developing this, my overwhelming focus is the profound sense of hollowness in my heart. For the past 7 years of my life I've found myself living for no other reason than work, while functioning in a numb state of mind in an effort to maneuver through a routine life with a certain anesthetized indifference. Post Traumatic Slavery Disorder and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder have been the leading causes that have led to this indifferent state that is at odds with my spirit. As an Air Force Veteran I am coping with experiences that have made it difficult for me to re-immerse into the civilian population and live a genuine, fulfilled existence. As a displaced African from the diaspora, I am dealing with issues of generational sexual trauma and recovering from a period of substance abuse. I've reached a point where I refuse to rely on self destructive patterns to maintain a facade of normalcy. Recently I've discovered innate power of positive thinking and witnessed the results begin to manifest in my life. In tandem, I have also seen the abundance and affluence the universe affords those who are willing to seek it. Combining those two trains of thoughts, I feel if my heart is centered in a place of positivity and I ask for healing and abundance there would be no reason for the universe not manifest it so I can pour value back into the world. I've created this request for 3 specific reasons:

1. I would like to attend Mt. Shasta healing retreats, and receive the healing that my mind, body, and soul needs so that I am able to operate in a state that allows me to efficiently serve the people.

2. I would like to start a brand of t-shirts that combines the messianic energy of this generation and of hip-hop inspired by an authentic vision and experience. 

 3. I would like visit Africa so that I am able to reconnect what has become a distant reality and memory for many of us who have been displaced from their natural state of being due to the transatlantic slave trade.

 For those who aspire to make the world a better place, I feel confident that you will see something in this request that affords you an opportunity to execute that desire.
