Walking Ireland's Everest for the Forest: West

In April 2023, a small group of us took on a mighty challenge—hiking Carrauntoohil 8 times in under 48 hours—all to raise funds for the Gaelic Woodland Project. The experience was unforgettable, not just for the physical challenge but for the amazing sense of community that rallied behind us.

This year, we’re taking it to the West!

At 9 AM on Friday, April 18th, we will set off on a new adventure: hiking Mweelrea, Connacht’s highest mountain, 10 times in 48 hours! But this time, we’re inviting you to join us!

Want to take on the challenge? Hike once, twice, or even all ten times!

Prefer to support from the sidelines? Your donation can help us restore Ireland’s native woodlands.

Every step we take is in support of the Gaelic Woodland Project’s mission to restore native Irish woodlands, particularly the development of their newly acquired land in Mayo. With your help, we can make an even bigger impact.

Join us, donate, or share our mission today!
