Funeral expenses for David

On November 8, 2019, my family suffered another significant loss.  My brother David Mayes, passed away at home, in Jacksonville, NC.  David was born on July 29, 1984.  He loved his family dearly, but most importantly he loved his momma.  A few years ago, he made the choice to put his life on hold so that he could care for, and provide for our Mother on a full time basis, due to her medical conditions.  He wanted to make sure that she had someone around, day and night.  David loved music, anime, video games, and he loved to cook.  He loved his siblings, and no matter what, they always had each other’s back.  When someone needed something, David was always there to lend a helping hand, or to help in whatever way he could.  He loved his nieces and nephews and loved to horse play and wrestle with them.  It was so evident that being around them always brought a smile to his heart. David always made sure, whether you were blood family or a friend, that the people around him were alright.  Now, it is our time to take care of David to ensure that he is put to rest in a way that honors him, the way that he honored those that he loved so much.  Since David’s job was to take care of my mother, he did not have any insurance or funds that can be used to cover the cost of his funeral expenses.  Our family has had to say goodbye to three loved one this year, which has taken a toll financially.  My family is asking that if you can help provide even the smallest amount of help, so that we are able to properly lay our brother, son, and friend to rest, we would forever be grateful.
